Startlefish is a four-piece rock band from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, Canada. The band has been around since early 2003 and currently consists of the following members.

	CRAIG WEST Vocals, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards
	The Jack Of All Trades. Craig is the band's lead singer and bassist live, while in the studio he's a generalist. He plays bass, guitar, and keyboards and functions as the band's conductor. He writes most of the band's lyrics while collaborating with Shayne on the music.

 

	ED YOUNG Drums, Vocals, Guitar
	The Professional. Ed plays drums, percussion, digital marimba, the odd guitar and provides backup vocals for Startlefish. Ed's rock solid playing is a fundamental part of the Startlefish sound as is his ear for arrangement. He is also often the voice of reason when the others go astray.

 

	SHAYNE WIGGLESWORTH Guitar, Vocals
	The Specialist. Shayne is a guitarist who specializes in creating atmospheres and texture with his playing, using his effects as much as his guitar. Shayne is also the other half of the band's songwriting team, and an occasional lyric writer.

 

	JASON MCBRIDE Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals
	The Extra Set Of Hands. Jason McBride has been a good friend of the band since 2004, and in his spare time decided to learn the entire Startlefish catalogue. Jason's job live and in the studio is to fill in the gaps adding guitar, keyboards or vocals as needed to complete the songs.
